Our discovery

We've found a way of dramatically improving nearly any challenging situation, in a deliberate and systematic way.  Our method focuses on identifying and exposing the things people don't know that they don't know and providing simple steps for capitalising on those insights and solutions.

We routinely help our clients secure more improvement in weeks and months than they would have made in a year on their own or with conventional consulting approaches.

Our secret

Our secret is to find and solve the single, fundamental problem everyone faces everywhere throughout the situation.  There always is one.  People can seldom see it beforehand.  They always recognise it afterwards.  It invariably seems unsolvable.  It always is solvable.  The solution is always very simple - in hindsight.  It can always be implemented, in small batches, very quickly.  The impact is invariably so disproportionate to the changes made that it strains normal understanding - even after the fact.

Universal and tailored solutions

It turns out that there is a small set of insights and solutions that apply to most situations - and specific organisational functions (sales, operations, production etc).  These insights and solutions enable people to get immediate results and start the ball rolling within days, while we develop deeper insights and custom solutions that apply to the specific situation and challenges the organisation faces.

The challenge we face

Because people don't know what they don't know - and because so many companies and people over-promise and under-deliver - people tend to be sceptical that dramatic improvement is possible within their situation.

Our solution

Our solution has three parts:

  1. We don't try to convince the sceptics.  We focus on finding and informing those with an aspiration and appetite for dramatic improvement and an openness to unconventional ways of getting it.  Or, rather, a recognition that "if you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got".
  2. We use people networks to find these transformers of society - they are hidden in the most unexpected places!  This is where you come in. If you don't know people who fit the profile yourself, you probably do know people who know people that do.
  3. We show them the universal solutions and give them advice on how to implement them, for free, upfront.  This exposes them to the things they didn't know they didn't know and gives them a clear taste of what's possible.
