The Reason
site version notes | release roadmap | how this page works | how to use it4. The Reason for the Problem
The reason that we can't see the problem is because challenging situations are too complex and multi-dimensional for our brains.
4. The Reason for the Problem
- Multi-Dimensionality: Reality is multi-dimensional
- Unconscious Incognizance: We haven't realised - individually or collectively - that there is such a small set of repeating patterns, so we don't decode or encode them into our thinking
- Codification: Even if we did, we'd still have to find a way of decoding and encoding them, because they are, fundamentally, indirect, relative to our current/conventional thinking
- Application: We aren't that good at applying general principles (patterns) to specific situations (we are better at generalising that instantiatiog, but with no reason to generalise...)
- Integration: We aren't that good at combining/integrating different dimensions.
