  1. We work out what the best approach to take is in collaboration with our clients, rather than independently of them.
  2. We don't hold ourselves out so much as subject-matter experts or industry-sector experts, but as "sense-making" specialists.
  3. We work from the end-result backwards, rather than from the current reality forwards - in order to ensure that we include the essential and exclude the superfluous.
  4. We implement in stages, creating a compellingly attractive pull-system for change instead of a repellingly coercive push-system.
  5. We target leverage-points rather than using brute force.
  6. Our engagement philosophy is outcome- and output-focused rather than effort- and input-focused.
