Objective

Our objective is to make it as easy as possible for creators, mavens and practitioners, to play a role in and benefit from promulgating the drîm concepts, solutions, tools and framework.

Licensing

We provide automatic and special licensing, making it easy to use, copy, modify, disseminate and earn from the content on this site.

Derivative & Remix Development Framework (& Tools)

A set of simple frameworks to make it legal to create, integrate, remix and promulgate the ideas, content and artwork on this site and its derivatives.

These frameworks will become an app, in due course.

IP Registration

We do this manually at the moment - but will develop a cryptographic blockchain, site and app for it in due course.

Promotion

We use the More Info button on each page to promote source, related derivative and remix as well as alternative works.

Endorsement

We will release and endorsement framework and process in due course - us to endorse qualifying works easily.

Certification

We will provide certification against Drîm Academy courses and programmes in due course.

Agencies

We'll appoint Prodsol Agents for different regions and cities in due course.

Prodsol IP Framework

site version notes

Objective

The sustainable proliferation of individual and collective dramatic improvement ideas and IP resources.

Approach

Make it easy for people to disseminate and promote copies, derivatives, integrations and original works based on the dramatic improvement material on this site.

Details

  1. p publisher icon Publisher & Author (on every page): Enabling us to publish material from other authors, including members, under licence.
  2. p acknowledgements icon Acknowledgements: Going beyond copyright, by listing and providing links to idea and artefact sources and contributions.
  3. p licences icon Licencing: Providing automatic and special licenses to catalyse and streamline sustainable modification and dissemination.
  4. p more info icon More Info: Promoting source, parallel derivative and original works.
  5. p support icon Creator ? Propagation Support: Helping people and organisations create and disseminate copies, applications, enhancements and original works based on our work.

Publisher & Author

We provide and advocate clear and linked publisher and author information on each page, enabling us to publish work created and published by others and in collaboration with others - especially our members - under explicit licences.

Acknowledgements

I want to go beyond copyright compliance to:

  1. Acknowledge ideas (not just content and media quoting) presented in both specific publications and entire bodies of work.
  2. Provide online links to those sources and contributions.

The initial launch will have only the most general and rudimentary version of this. It will become increasingly exhaustive and useful, over time.

Licencing

Copyright, Copyleft, Creative Commons, GPL and other schemas don't do the trick - largely because they aren't designed for sustainable proliferation.

The basic idea is to:

  1. Provide Public Domain (Copyright Free) guidelines and wording examples - so that people know exactly what they can do without acknowledgement.
  2. Define Copyright Fair Use / Fair Dealing precisely - so that people know exactly what they need to acknowledge under a general Copyright licence.
  3. Provide appropriate modification and dissemination licences automatically on (free or paid subscription sign-up) in exchange for a link to the relevant information on my site - so that people are able to disseminate and build upon my work (and have others build upon their's) with ease and confidence.
  4. Provide special modification and dissemination licences by agreement - to make requirements beyond the above as quick, easy and painless as possible.

This may be the wrong approach - instead of explaining how I'm accomplishing my objectives, I could focus on how you can accomplish yours - including the licence you will get and are able to provide your audience with.

Click here for greater detail, your licences and licencing terms.

More Info

The More Info links on each page provide links to source, additional, derivative and original works, to make it easy for people to learn more and assess more reliably and easily.

Propagation Support

In pursuit of my objective, I want to not merely permit but assist you in your sustainable application, enhancement, dissemination of my work and your work that resonates with or is built upon mine.

Objective

To make it quick, easy and explicitly legal to

  1. Tailor and integrate Drîm World & Drîm Academy materials for your own use.
  2. Copy, share and disseminate Drîm World & Drîm Academy materials individually & within your organisation.
  3. Create, disseminate and profit from derivative and original material based on Drîm World and Drîm Academy material.
    1. Translative, Derivative, Integrative and Collaborative works. (Need a word to convey works that contain more than fair use but less than the other categories: Contributive; Extrapolitive; Original works.)

Your IP Licences

The General Drîm World IP Licence is: P-DW:G999000. You may disseminate any Drîm World content you have access to when you are not logged in:

  1. As is, with the following General IP Licence notice:
  2. As a no larger than 10% part of a derivative work with the following Fair Use Copyright Attribution notice:

The General Drîm Academy IP Licence is:P-DA: G999000. You may disseminate any Drîm Academy content you have access to when you are not logged in (or content that has a (G) symbol on it):

  1. As is, with the following General IP Licence notice:
  2. As a no-larger-than 10% part of a derivative work with the following Fair Use Copyright Attribution notice:

Approach/Means

Our approach is to state explicitly what you can do under a simple licensing system.

Licence Types

  1. Public Domain Licence: Otherwise known as a General Public Licence, this is effectively the licence not to need a licence. Do what you want to with this content, without restriction or the need to attribute its source. Attribution is totally optional.
    1. We will publish simplified and summarised public domain versions of our copyright content, over time.
    2. We will transfer our copyrighted material into the Public Domain, bit-by-bit, as the Drîm Framework gets adopted, civilisation-wide.
  2. Fair Use Licence: Although Fair Use is not typically regarded as a licence but as a defence, we clarify what we regard as Fair Use (use, without special permission, but referencing Prodsol International Limited, Prodsol Limited or Gary Bartlett as the copyright holder) of our content:
    1. Any of the ideas underlying our content - obviously: ideas can;t be copyrighted.
    2. Up to 10% of the actual text, imagery or other media type in each section, on each page.
  3. Member Auto-Licences: Licences that are generated for Drîm World and Drîm Training members, upon registration.
    1. The basic idea is that you receive the right - and are encouraged and equipped to:
      1. Use: Make as many copies of our content - as is or modified as you see fit - as you need for your own use (Attribution is optional).
      2. Show: it to others, displaying your licence and theirs, with a URL link that will enable them to register theirs.
      3. Publish: material they have access to:
        1. Individuals can share copies of a single page or template that they have access to per week with other individuals, their team and informal groups - displaying the licence block.
        2. Leaders can share copies of a single page or template that they have access to per week, with others within their organisation, every week.
        3. Practitioners: can share copies of a single page or template that they have access to per week, with other organisations, every month.
    2. Action: Use|Show|Publish.
    3. Type: Copy|Customisation|Modification|New Work.
    4. Audience: Self|Someone else|Team|Own Organisation|Other Organisation|Tribe|Public.
  4. Special Member Licenses: Licences that go beyond Member Auto-Licences are generated on request with special terms mostly for free but, in some cases with a commercial agreement of some sort.
  5. Organisational Auto-Licences: We will provide the ability for members to register their organisation for Drîm world or Drm wrld for Drîm Training, in due course.
    1. This will enable bulk discounting, administration and organisational licencing.
    2. In the short-term, we'll manage this manually, on application.
  6. Special Organisational Licences: Licences that go beyond Orginastional Auto-Licences are generated on request with special terms mostly for free but, in some cases with a commercial agreement of some sort.

Your IP Licences

The General Drîm World IP Licence is: P-DW:G000999. You may disseminate any Drîm World content you have access to when you are not logged in:

  1. As is, with the following General IP Licence notice:
  2. As a no larger than 10% part of a derivative work with the following Fair Use Copyright Attribution notice:

The General Drîm Academy IP Licence is:P-DA: G000999. You may disseminate any Drîm Academy content you have access to when you are not logged in (or content that has a (G) symbol on it):

site version notes

Overview

The content on this site was developed using what is now the Drîm Framework, developed by Gary Bartlett of Prodsol International. Except for specific references and links, everything on this website is based on:

  1. Cognitive Science and System Science ideas, concepts and works.
  2. Supplemented by the insights and contributions of many smart people.

In most cases, every bit of content is the repeating pattern across many domains and sources.

CogSci and SysSci

The ever-evolving Drîm Framework combines and integrates the underlying ideas and concepts found in:

  1. The Cognitive Sciences
    1. Lateral Thinking: Edward De Bono
    2. SOT: The School of Thinking, co-founded by Stewart Hewitt-Gleason and Edward De Bono.
    3. Cognitive Science: Partial list coming soon.
    4. Cognitive Neuroscience: Partial list coming soon.
  2. The System Sciences
    1. TOC: The Theory of Constraints, originally developed by Eliyahu Goldratt
    2. TRIZ: The Theory of Inventive Problem Solving, originally developed by Genrich Altshuller.
    3. ASIT: A simplification of TRIZ, developed by Ronnie Horowitz.
    4. System Dynamics: J Forrester.
    5. Systems Thinking: Peter Senge

Insights & Contributions from Smart People

In addition to the works mentioned above, many people have contributed to the content on this site:

  1. Prodsol Clients.
  2. Prodsol Associates.
  3. Friends and family.

Future Content

We'll publish a more comprehensive list of both of the above categories, in due course - and add details on the nature of each publication's and person's contribution.
